LinTec semi-finished products are processed further in different areas of vehicle manufacture:
We implement heat treatment specifications, among other things, on special hardening machines with patented hardening processes. The most frequently used materials are 100Cr6 and HS 6-5-2 (HSS). The semi-finished products are tested 100 per cent on a test track.
Among other things, LinTec supplies shafts, pillars, bolts for
CNC-controlled turning machines with main and counter spindles allow the complete machining of parts, including gear cutting, inside and outside. Tools for rolling highly stressed threads, up to M 140 x 4, are used for the production of rods and columns. Smoothing tools finish the transitions in order to meet particularly high requirements. Finishing with stone or belt and lapping can create surfaces with an Ra =< 0.03 µm.
By using inductive hardening, LinTec Aulendorf achieves high surface hardnesses of up to 66 HRC in the marginal area of the shafts. The unhardened areas retain their positive properties from the cold forming and can be machined economically.
For linear technology, LinTec supplies ready-to-install components from its own prefabricated semi-finished products (see standard range) according to customer drawings, which are characterised by flawless surfaces and excellent mechanical properties.
Shafts for use in construction machines can be made from different materials. The possible applications are diverse:
Special production processes improve the properties of the chrome-plated surfaces. Inductive hardening increases the wear resistance.
